The Academy of Korean Studies (AKS) is pleased to announce the "30th & 31st AKS Summer Program for International Students." As an important part of our mission is to cultivate young leaders, who can contribute to the development of Korean studies, the academy has organized an intensive summer program for international undergraduate students in Korean studies.
The 30th and 31st AKS Summer Program for International Students in 2021 are scheduled to be run online, focusing on Korean language classes and special lectures on Korean studies. Korean language classes and experiential classes such as cooking and traditional crafts will be planned in both directions, while special lectures on Korean studies, including history, economy, culture, and arts, will be planned through an online education system.
If you want to participate in a AKS Summer Program for International Students that will be held twice online during summer vacation, please refer to the following and apply.

     1. Program Period
       - The 30th : July 5 (Mon.) – July 23 (Fri.), 2021, 3 weeks
       - The 31st : August 9 (Mon.) – August 27 (Fri.), 2021, 3 weeks
     2. Eligibility : Undergraduate students of second year or above from universities abroad who are majoring or minoring
                            in Korean Studies and/or those who took Korea related courses from their universities.
     3. Application Period : February 3 (Wed.) – March 3 (Wed.), 2021, 17:00
     4. Application Method : Through the official website of Academy of Korean Studies (www.aks.ac.kr/ikorea/english/)
     5. Notification of the Acceptance : The result will be announced individually via e-mail on March 29(Mon), 2021.
