The Office of Understanding Korea Correctly Campaign at the Center for International Affairs of the Academy of Korean Studies holds Korean culture lectures for international students who are interested in Korean studies every year. The Korean culture lecture, which marked its 26th anniversary this year, was held for 4 weeks from Jul. 9, 2017 to Aug. 3, with 29 students from 28 countries participating.

The students who participated in the Korean culture lectures took part in Korean language courses, special lectures on subjects related to Korea, traditional cultural experience, and cultural heritage exploration and others and stayed at the guesthouse provided by the academy. Now armed with an increased understanding of Korea, the participants are expected to go back to their respective countries and serve an important role in spreading knowledge about Korea.
