In light of my recent participation in the meeting on Korean Culture for Specialists in School Textbooks of Honduras in 2018 held in South Korea, I would like to express my sincere thanks to the Academy of Korean Studies for its efforts and to the Embassy of Korea in Honduras for allowing me to participate in such extraordinary experience.

It has been an invaluable opportunity for learning and personal, cultural, and professional enrichment. Your nation boasts of very high levels of development and well-being for its population, and I was very impressed by the fact that the main bastion has been, and still is, education.

The care and facilities provided to me throughout this meeting are equally impressive. Your fellow citizens are extremely professional and excellent people. The time was regrettably short considering the completeness of all the activities included in the itinerary, not to mention how fantastic they were.

Everything I learned in the seminars and conferences was amazing (South Korean education, history, and culture, development of Korea's economy, history of inter-Korean affairs), including unforgettable visits to museums, Posco, temples, palaces, historical areas, and theater, among others. I also had the opportunity to try its exquisite and varied cuisine and the unforgettable experience of traveling by fast train. Being able to witness the unprecedented summit between South Korea and North Korea was quite meaningful for me, too.

I want to express how grateful I am for this wonderful experience, but for now, I am at a loss for words. From the depths of my heart, I reiterate to the Korean Studies Academy my admiration and respect for the extraordinary country they have. You have my immense gratitude, esteem, and special consideration.
