In the invitational training, the human networks established by the annual National Council for Social Studies in the United States from 2015 to 2017 were utilized to select participants who are influential in the field of social studies education in the United States, with the aim of raising the likelihood of performance achievements in terms of improving, enhancing and creating Korea-related contents for American textbooks.

Through the lecture conference, the participants had an opportunity to learn about the diaspora policies implemented in the Korean Peninsula as a divided country.
